We implement practices in the office and onsite to minimize our environmental impact, including and not limited to:
Sustainable Office Practices:
- Our home office endeavors to keep energy usage low and has solar panels and uses LED lightbulbs where possible
- The office has rain water tanks to effectively re-use water
- Avoid the use of disposable products such as coffee cups, by using reusable cups and reusable stainless steel water bottles
- Products we use, such as soaps and detergents are environmentally safe
- We try to avoid unnecessary travel by using messaging, calls, emails, and video conferencing to arrange meetings or quotes
- We avoid the use of paper by sending electronic quotes and invoices via email or text
- Purchased paper is recycled and we try to re-use paper (from the printer) using the blank side for notes etc
Sustainable Onsite Practices:
- The water fed cleaning system uses little or no chemical for an environmentally friendly clean
- We try to minimize water used with water fed cleaning and waste water is recycled on to nearby gardens
- Traditional window cleaning uses very little water to conserve water usage
- We use biodegradable detergents wherever possible
- Our cleaning cloths are reusable cotton cloths to reduce waste
- When cleaning our cloths and towels, they are washed in cold, recycled rain water to reduce energy use and conserve water
- Jobs are booked to incorporate logical travel routes, to minimize time spent on the road, thereby reducing vehicle emissions
